We are hoping to see our flowers bloom soon. But until then, we are making beautiful tulips to brighten our home.
We are breaking out the sponges, markers, and paint to make our flower beautiful. We start by cutting our sponges into smaller, more manageable pieces for our little artists. We are using craft paint for this project. You can find the small one-ounce bottles at most craft stores. This paint works better for several reasons: it’s thicker than water colors; it’s easier for smaller hands to use; it doesn’t drip all over the place (well, hopefully); and it has a more vibrant color than water colors.
