Sneak Peek at New 2021 Crafts for Kids

We are always busy cutting, glue, and creating here at ‘You’re so creative.’ Today is another happy day of creating.

As some of you might know I have been crafting and creating projects for the little artists over the past twenty years. I have collected and saved my patterns and ideas, enough to fill an entire filing cabinet. A little over two years ago I began making our site, ‘You’re so creative.’

Today I am happy to say there are over 1,000 free craft projects available online. I wish I could tell you all of the projects are listed. But in my guess, we have maybe 2/3 posted with many more to come.

If there is a specific project, animal, country, or craft you are looking for I suggest trying the search bar at the bottom of the page. If you are not having any luck please feel free to message us through our Facebook page and we will be happy to look through our files or create something just for your little artist.

Huggable Crafts

Sneak peek at a completely new category.

Last winter we began to create what we call ‘Huggable Projects.’ These projects are designed with the arms that fold over an item looking like they are hugging it.

We started this idea with a couple just in time for Valentine’s Day last year. At the time we didn’t realize how much our little artists would love them. Quickly we received requests for sloths, cows, and the list goes on and on. We are happy to say there is now somewhere around twenty-five now on the site.

Due to the ‘huggable’ card popularity, we decided to give them their very own category. Allowing for one easy and convenient location to click and print all of our cards. These are large formatted cards to make it easier for smaller hands to make.

Each card comes with a printable huggable item for your little artist to pick from. The cow has a milk jug, the monkey has a banana, and so on. You may also use stickers or a picture to add a huggable item.

Kids will have fun picking out a different character for each Valentine in their class. In fact, we had a little artist in Louisiana send us a video showing each card she made and telling us who it was for. We love seeing how much fun she had and how creative she was.

These projects use your main supplies you hopefully have around the house.

Supplies:

  1. Construction paper or card stock
  2. Safety scissors
  3. Crayons or markers
  4. Glue stick

Additional supplies for some such as, google eyes, cotton balls etc.

We hope you had fun peeking at our upcoming projects. We know it will be a year of saying, ‘You’re so creative!’
