Projects That Begin With L

We continue to craft our way through the alphabet with projects that begin with L. Last week we made three ‘Loveable Llama’ projects. It was a great way to start learning about our L’s.

This week, as we continue to learn about L, we are making lions, ladybugs, and lizards. Oh my! Your little artist is sure to have fun making these ‘L’ovely L projects.

In our first project, we are learning to make a 3D ladybug. Your little artist will refine his or her small motor skills while learning how to glue the strips of paper. It’s a simple gluing project with a twist.

  2. Cut 4 strips of red paper.
  3. Use bingo dauber to put spots on strips of paper.
  4. Fold over 1/2″ of each end of the red paper strips.
  5. Glue the folded ends onto dots on ladybug paper.

Next we are using our hand prints to make the King of the Jungle, the lion. This project is fun to make every year to see how much the lion’s mane grows.
