Paper Bag Crafts
Did you know there is even a holiday to celebrate paper bags? Monday, June 12 is National Paper Bag Day. Even though we switched over to reusable bags years ago we still have paper bags filling our cupboard. This got us thinking of fun paper bag crafts we can make.
Today we are going to share a few of our animal bag crafts. These are great because they can be made with almost any size paper bag and work great for sending completed projects home.
We are having a hoot making our first animal bag craft. This adorable owl uses handprints to make feathers. You may use paper or painted handprints depending on the supplies and time you have.

Reindeer are not just for Christmas. We have fun with this craft all year. Especially when we are working on the letter R. It is one of the most recognizable R animals for little artists.

Little artists love making this bunny bag. For the littlest artists, we cut out the pieces ahead of time and let them glue the pieces together. Some bunny bags come out looking like the picture and others more like a Picasso style bag. They are perfect either way.

We have several make your own bag crafts on our site as well. We teach little artists how to make their own bags out of a sheet of paper. Little artists are fascinated to learn how to sculpt out of paper. If you have really young artists we suggest you make the bag ahead for them. Then let them decorate it to fit your theme. Here are a few of our make your own bag crafts. Here is a link to make your own scarecrow bag.
