Fairy Tale Arts & Crafts
We all know our little artists love to use their imaginations. In today’s newsletter, we are inspiring them with our Fairy tale arts & crafts. Maybe you will build a castle, ride a horse, or save a prince instead of a princess. Who knows?
Most Fairy tales have some kind of castle. I mean where else are a king and queen supposed to live? In this first project, we are using bubble wrap to paint and make a stone texture. Click the link to find out more.
Castle Fairy tale Arts & Crafts
Maybe your little artist’s castle is guarded by a big dragon? It is fun to let your little artist pick whichever color they would like to paint their dragon. Maybe in their fairy tale land, it is pink or maybe blue? We used green shimmering paint for ours. You may use finger paints, sponges, or paintbrushes. Click the link to find out how we make our dragons ‘smoke.’
Dragon Craft Project
Maybe your fairytale adventure has an old and wise wizard in the story? Your little artist can look like a wizard in our next craft. We use a little engineering mixed with small motor skills to make our own wizard’s hat. Your little artist will be casting spells in no time. Click the link for more information.
Wizard Hat Craft Project
Today’s final Fairytale arts & crafts is probably one of my favorites. We have used paper, paint, or large stamp pads to give this unicorn its beautiful mane. It all depends on the level of your little artist. This is fun to set up as stations on parents’ day. Each adult takes a color and helps the child add it to their project. This is perfect when washing hands in between. I like to use diper wipes.
