“Logic will take you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.”
Albert Einstein
It’s good to have a balance of logic and imagination, but we know imagination is one of the best toys our children can have. Children everywhere love to play ‘pretend’, and the theater is a great way for them to exercise their imaginations.
So, on International Theater Day we have decided to make masks and act out a story. We decided on the classic, “The Three Little Pigs.”
Head over to your local Library or use this link to get the book “The Three Little Pigs.” Read it before you build your mask. Then tell your little artists they can build their own masks and act out the story. What fun!
Your little artists can make a big bad wolf and or a little pig mask. They will love playing along with a favorite story.
Who knows, maybe you will inspire a future actor with this enjoyable project!
