Happy Birthday to the United States of America! On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was signed. Now this holiday is celebrated with fireworks, parades, and barbecues.
We have an entire category on our website called The 4th of July, available HERE. But today we are featuring just a few of our fun 4th of July craft projects.
Let’s start with making a wall hanging of the National Bird, the bald eagle. Your little artist can reverse paint this beautiful silhouette project. Reverse painting is a great way for little artists to have big results.
Eagle
Supplies:
Directions:
- Print eagle onto card stock paper.
- Cut out.
- Place eagle cutout on blue paper.
- Pour small amount of paint onto paper plate.
- Use sponge to paint around eagle.

Hopefully you will find this fireworks craft project quieter than the real ones! You can use the traditional glitter or the glitter glue to make these sparkle.
