Autumn Farm Crafts
We have done lots of Farm crafts over the years. But, Today we thought we would share some Autumn Farm crafts for your little artists.
We are all busy decorating our rooms for the harvest season in the States. Our little artist love refining small motor skills while doing this Indian Corn project. You may use up all of your scrap paper in every color. Click the image below to find out how we made this project.

Next up, we are using two-dimensional shapes to make a three dimensional pumpkin. The farms are full of all sizes and different colors of pumpkins this time of year. If you have a chance to pick up a pumpkin or two they make perfect and inexpensive canvases for your little artists to decorate. Click the image below to find out how to make this pumpkin craft.

We are having fun with number recognition and simple math in this next project. We are making our own Autumn educational tool. This counting turkey craft is perfect for so many lessons. You may discuss chronological orders. Add in math by starting on five and adding more feathers. So many ideas. I am sure the list goes on. Children love creating their own tools. In today’s final project, we are making a jointed scarecrow craft. For the littlest of artists, I pre-cut out all the pieces and let them assemble them however they choose. For older children I have them practice their scissors skills. The secret to making this project so colorful is printing the pieces on brown, orange, and tan cardstock.
