Free Thanksgiving Crafts for little artists

Thanksgiving Crafts

It is that time of year in the United States for Thanksgiving crafts. As always we are busy gluing, cutting, and decorating. Today we are sharing a couple of our favorites Thanksgiving projects.

We start out today by making our own rocking Mayflower boat craft. This project is perfect for adding a STEM to your curriculum. Your little artist will love building their own rocking ship that sails across the ocean to deliver the pilgrims. For more information on how to make this project click the image below.

Next, we are making some decorations for our Thanksgiving centerpiece. First, we are starting with some colorful Indian corn. Your little artist will have fun using a large hole punch to make kernels of corn then gluing them onto the cob. Make one or a bushel of corn to decorate. To finish our centerpieces we are making three dimensional pumpkins. This is another great STEM craft for little artists. We use multiple copies and folding techniques to make these pumpkins stand up. For more information on how to make this project click the image below.

Thanksgiving would not be complete without at least one turkey craft. In today’s final craft we are making huggable turkey cards. This project is great for writing or drawing what the child is thankful for and then folding the wings over to look like a hug.
