Free Snowflake Crafts for Children

Snowflake Crafts

We are having fun today making snowflake crafts. Just like a real snowflake, these projects will turn out alike. Let’s get started, shall we?

This first craft may be made with cutout handprints or painted hands. However, you choose to make this craft please use large sheets of paper as every hand is a different size. The larger paper is to make sure the snowflake will fit. To find out more click the image below.

This next project is one of my favorites. This craft also works well as a classroom station. We use discarded packing peanuts to engineer our snowflakes. This is a great way to reuse, recycle and reduce. To find out more please click the image below to find out more.

We can not have snowflake crafts without at least one with glitter. If the word glitter gives you a panic attack do not worry. We use glitter glue to trace the lines. The glitter is all trapped inside the glue. This craft is great for hand-eye coordination. We are using the printed snowflake to trace with glue. To print your own template click the image below.

We have sculpted, glued, and cut it is time to break out the paint in this final craft project. We do a lot of reverse paint with our little artist. It is a simple technique that gives big results. We cut out one snowflake ahead of time out of card stock. Also, you may use wooden snowflakes as a template instead. We reuse this template multiple times for the different artists.
