Arctic Animal Crafts
We are having fun with Arctic Animal Crafts in this week’s newsletter. Your little artist is sure to have fun learning about these cold loving animals through art. Let’s grab some hot chocolate and get started.
In our first project, we are dressing up as a walrus with this mask craft. Little artists love making and wearing any craft. This is sure to be one of their favorite ones. Click the link to make and print out your own free pattern.

The reindeer/Caribou is probably one of the most recognizable Arctic animals. The little artists will be interested to know that they are not just for Santa. They live in the Arctic all year long. A fun fact to share with your little artist is that male reindeer lose their antlers in the fall and regrow them in the spring. It makes you wonder if Santa’s sliegh was pulled by females instead? Next up we are crafting one of the largest Arctic animals, the polar bear. We are refining small motor skills by gluing and by pulling apart cotton balls. We do this to give this bear his warm fur. Click the image below to print your own free project.

This seal craft has been a favorite around here for well over twenty years. The little artist love using his or her own fingerprints to make a spotted seal. It is always a good idea to have extra diaper wipes on hand with this project. Click the image below to print your own.

We have had fun with arctic animals that swim and run but what about fly? This next animal can do all three. We are making this adorable pufin. Click the image below to make your own.

I hope you stayed nice and warm while learning with these Arctic Anmal Crafts. If you are looking for more Arctic or Antarctic crafts we recommend checking out our ‘Lands of ice and snow’, category HERE. We know if you make one or all you will be telling your little artists, ‘You’re so creative!’
