We have been working our way through the English alphabet with our letter worksheets and crafts. There are over 18 different forms of the alphabet in the world. But, today we are sharing our fun letter O crafts.

Some little artist might mistake this next project for a cow it is actually an Oxen. While this animal is a cousin to the cow in the bovine family they are usually twice the size of cattle. Oxen are mostly known for being one the strongest animals and able to pull carts. Next up we are making the wise old owl. Owls are thought to be wise because of their heightened night senses. Their night vision impressed the Ancient Greeks, who believed that this vision was a result of a mystical inner light and associated the owl with the Goddess of Wisdom, Athena. We are using your wise little artist’s handprints to add feathers to our owl bag craft.

This next project appears on every continent and even on the hieroglyphics of ancient pyramids, the onion. This vegetable was worship in ancient Egypt the shape, layers, and rings were symbols of eternity. We are adding our own layers to this onion craft while refining small motor skills.
