Rainbow Crafts
There is something so beautifully simple about a rainbow. Even a classroom full of rainbow crafts will make you smile. Today we thought we would share a couple of simple and easy crafts to make with your little artists. The best part is we do not even have to wait for a rainstorm.
The first project has some simple prep work of cutting out different color strips of paper. If you have very young artists I do this ahead of time and let them glue the project together however they choose. With older students I allow them to cut and glue the colors to their rainbow.
*Hint- This is a great project for using up scrap strips of paper you might have laying around. Not every stip has to be the same width or length either. Just like our example below.
Rainbow Crafts Project
There are a couple of variations you may try for our next rainbow craft project. For the littlest artist still developing their small motor skills try using a silicone rolling pin to move the paint across the paper. For older children, we use a plastic gift card or old credit card to paint our rainbow. Click the image below to find out how we made this rainbow.
Rainbow Painting
It might be fun to make one of these keepsake bead rainbow crafts. Have your little artists layout their designs. Then with your help fuse/melt the plastic beads into place using an iron. When cool, you have a rainbow to make a magnet or hang in a window. Click the image below to find out more.
Fusible Bead Kit
Arched, straight, or in every direction I am sure all of the rainbow crafts came out beautifully. You are sure to tell your little artists, ‘You’re so creative!’
