Air Transportation Crafts
We are probably familiar with airplanes to travel the friendly skies. But in today’s newsletter, we thought we would have fun learning about other ways to fly. We are sharing a fun and creative collection of Air Transportation crafts. Your little artist might have fun learning about the different ways they can fly or float through the sky.
We thought we would start with the most recognizable way to fly, on an airplane. Your little artist can decorate this plane any way they choose. You might have to help younger artists cut out and assemble this project. When this project is complete your little artist can have fun flying it around the room. In our next craft project, we introduce thermal dynamics to your little artist. We learn that hot air trapped in the balloon causes it to rise and fly. We have fun pre-cutting out many different color circles. Then we let our little artists pick out the colors they would like and design their balloons. Our final project might have you saying 3,2,1 blast off. We are creating and making our own rocket ships. The children love when the ceiling is full of hanging rocket ships. Click the image below to find out how to make your own.

It is always fun to ask the children ‘where are you going on your Air Transportation crafts?’ I am sure the answer will have you saying, ‘You’re so creative!’
