Snowmen Crafts
In today’s newsletter, we are having fun with our snowmen crafts. We are practicing cutting, gluing, all well refining small motor skills with no snow required. Let’s stay warm inside and make a few of these fun snowmen.
In today’s first project we are using our kindergarten engineering skills to color and build a bag structure. Then we use art supplies to give our little friend some cozy ear muffs. Click the image below for directions to make this craft.
*Glitter tips- For this project, I recommended that you use a large cardboard box to contain the glitter or use glitter glue. As a result, it might help contain some of the glitter. Glitter might make a mess but it is so worth it. The results are beautiful.
Snowmen Bag Craft Project
This next craft is one of our favorites. I love how the little artists interpret how this snowman should be assembled. Sometimes they are made out of order or even upside down. It is more fun to see what they come up with than to stick with tradition. To make and pint your click the image below.

This next project is designed to help refine small motor skills. After coloring, we are letting our little artists twist and create arms for their snowmen. It is always a great idea to have extra pipe cleaners on hand. Some little artists may want to make an octo-snowman. Click the image below for directions to make this craft.

If you are lucky enough to live in a climate that gets snow why not go out and make a real snowman? We love using this fun snow paint. You can paint on clothes or other details. I also recommend a few spray bottles or squirt guns for more fun.
We hope you had fun building these snowmen. No mittens or winter clothes are required. If you made one or all five you are sure to tell your little artists, ‘You’re so creative!’
