Some of us love Fall and all the wonderful things it brings. I love all the beautiful leaves, the colors on the Indian corn, and all the beautiful sunflowers. That is why we decided to share our craft projects featuring leaves, corn, and sunflowers.
Your little artists will have fun using their own hand prints to make this colorful tree.
Colorful Tree
Supplies:
Directions:
- Print copy of tree trunk.
- Trace child’s hand onto green paper and cut out.
- Glue hand prints onto tree.
I love all of the different colors on Indian Corn. Your little artist will love using a large hole punch to make this next project.
Indian Corn
Supplies:
Directions:
- Cut or punch different colored circles out of construction paper.
- Place glue on half sheet of white paper.
- Place different colored circles on glue.
- Wait for project to dry.
- When dry, roll into tube and help your little artist staple.
- Optional: We added a brown triangle to create a husk.
There are so many great Fall flowers at this time of year. I really enjoy seeing the beautiful sunflowers. We decided to make our own flowers in this next project.
Sunflower Craft Project
Supplies:
- Flower pattern
- Construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Paper towel tube
- Optional: Hole punch
Directions:
- Cut 8 of each size petals out of yellow paper.
- Cut circle out of brown paper.
- Use glue stick to glue small petals to brown circle first.
- Then glue on longer petals.
- Turn over so the brown center faces up.
- Glue the back of flower to paper towel tube.
- Glue dots to center of flower.
