Clown Crafts
We are having fun making and wearing some of our silly clown crafts in today’s newsletter. Maybe your little artist loves clowns. Or perhaps you can use these projects to learn how not to be afraid of them. We hope no matter what they will refine small motor skills while making memories.
You can let your artists’ imaginations run wild in our first project. Decorate these hats with any art supplies you make have. You can use fun hole punches to make decorations. Dig out paint and brushes. Maybe just color. You may even make it wearable by cutting out and gluing it to a headband. We chose to use colored cotton balls to make ours. This is a great craft to use up any bits and pieces of supplies you may have. Click the image below to print out your own clown hat to decorate.
Clown Hat Craft Project
Next up we are helping your little artist to dress up like a clown. They could decorate and design their outfit to match their hat or something completely different. When complete these make for really adorable bobblehead pictures. Click the image below to find more.
Clown Costume Craft Project
In this next craft, we are practicing our scissors skills. We use different color yarns of different textures to give this silly clown a hairstyle. The children love being hairstylists. Some go all out with long flowing locks while others prefer a more minimalistic approach. However they design this project it will be perfect. Click the image below to print this clown craft project.
- For younger children, we recommend finger paints for the hair. Your little artist can go crazy making fun hairstyles.
