Skeleton Craft Project
Supplies:
- Copy of skeleton parts
- Card stock
- Pencil
- Scissors or Safety scissors
- Glue stick
Directions:
- Print copy of bones and skull onto card stock paper.
- Cut out bones and skull. If your little artist is not proficient with cutting, you might want to pre-cut all of the skeleton pieces before you begin.
- Trace child’s handprint (fingers closed) onto card stock paper. (We did two.)
- Accordion fold handprint and cut out a few at one time.
- To make the spine, glue the tips of the handprints together. Glue the two pieces together to make a spine.
- Trace child’s hands and feet for skeleton’s hands and feet, and cut out.
- Then glue the rest of the pieces to make your skeleton.
Options:
- Sometimes it’s fun to let your little artists decide to glue their skeletons together however they choose. It may not be ‘correct,’ but it will be an original!
- You can print the bones onto bright colored paper to make any color skeleton your little artist would like.
