Golf Craft Project

Supplies:

1. Copy of flag
2. Straw
3. Glue
4. Safety scissors
5. Recipe for clay or green play-dough (See below or for more recipes Click HERE)

Directions:

1. Make clay.
2. Have the children cut out flag.
3. Glue flag on the straw by folding over the straw.
4. Mold clay into putting green shape.
5. Stick flag into clay.

Clay recipe:

1. 1 cup of cornstarch
2. 1 pound of baking soda
3. 1 1/2 cup of water
4. Green food coloring

Supplies needed:

1. Large pot
2. Foil
3. Spoon

Clay Directions:

1. In large pot, mix together baking soda and cornstarch, slowly adding water.
2. Heat on low, mixing occasionally.
3. Stir constantly once it starts to bubble.
4. Add food coloring.
5. It will then begin to thicken.
6. Pour mixture onto foil.
7. It will soon cool and thicken. Store in fridge until ready to use.
