Who knew there was an entire month dedicated to the sport of Golf? Well, August is officially International Golf Month.
The sport of golf can be traced back to the mid-1400’s in Scotland. Then they used feather-filled balls and wooden tree branches to play the game. Today you feel like you need an engineering degree to pick up a club, and a course in trigonometry just to play the game!
As for us, we will stick to golf with windmills and volcanoes. Putt putt golf, that is.
However your family plays golf, we hope you will have fun making these golf-inspired craft projects.
This first project we are making is a golf ball. You can use bubble wrap like a giant stamp to give this ball its texture.
