International Clown Week is August 1-7 this year. Maybe your little one loves going to the circus and seeing all the clowns pile out of a tiny car. Or maybe clowns aren’t his or her favorite. No matter how your little artist feels about clowns, we are sure your little one loves to ‘clown’ around.
We try to do fun activities before we settle into craft time. This week we are learning to juggle plastic bags and do somersaults. Maybe after doing a somersault or two, your little one will be ready to sit down and work on these clown craft projects. This week we are sharing our clown picture and hat.

- Print off a copy of the clown face pattern.

Your little artist will have fun making this clown hat. You can get as creative as you would like with this next project. Decorate using any pieces of art supplies you may have lying around, like stickers, confetti, ribbons, and puff balls. The list goes on and on. Your little artist is sure to have fun making and wearing his or her own clown hat.
