Spring Sports Crafts
With the snow starting to melt we thought it was a perfect time to share some Spring Sports Crafts. Maybe your little artists plays some of these sports, or maybe it’s a great way to introduce them. Either way, they are sure to have fun learning with these crafts.
First up we are refining scissor skills while designing and making a baseball bat. Your little artist can add color and cut out this bat. We glued ours to a paper towel tube so we can play pretend baseball. You may crumple up balls of scrap paper and hit them with the bat. It’s fun to play on a rainy day. Next up we are using our gluing skills to design the stitching on a baseball. Sometimes these come out a little abstract and that is what makes art fun. Click the image below to find out more.

Depending on where you live fishing season starts any day now. In this next project, we are making our own pretend fishing lure. You may also use this craft to create your own fishing game. Simply add a paper clip to the end of each lure. Then make a fishing pole with a magnet on the end of the line. Your little one will have fun making their own game. We are letting little artist practice scissors skills while stringing their own tennis racquets. We let artist cut and measure the length of yarn they like and then glue it onto their art project. Click the link to find out more.

In today’s final craft, we are learning how to make our own stamp and use it to make a golf ball. While the standard golf ball may have 336 dimples yours may have more or less. Little artists have fun designing their own art supplies and using them. Click the image below to find out more.
