Egyptian Crafts
We are having fun teaching your little artists with Egyptian Crafts today. Maybe your child is familiar with this exotic country or perhaps this is a great way to introduce it. We hope they will learn while having some fun with these projects. Let’s begin.
We thought we would first learn about the continent that you might find Egypt. We use a reverse painting technique to make this painting of Africa. For an added learning aspect have the children place a sticker on the map where Egypt is located. Click the image below to find out how we make this project.

Next up we are learning about the past rulers of Eygpt, the great Pharaohs. This craft teaches your little artists about the headdresses they wore. You may even customize this mask by adding their name to the crown. Click the image to find out more information.

Next, we are making a craft about something you might see in Egypt. In fact, they are so big you may see them from outer space. We are talking about the Pyramids. In this craft, we let little artists with scissors skills cut out their own squares to glue on to design this pyramid. For a younger artist, I just cut out a collection of rectangles. In today’s final craft, we are turning your little artists into little engineers. We are sharing our other pyramid craft. For younger artists, I cut out all of the pieces ahead of time and let them assemble. This is a great project for teaching the three dimensional shape of a triangle.
