Easter Crafts
We thought with Easter right around the corner we would share some of our favorite Easter crafts. Whether you celebrate this holiday as a religious holiday or in a more secular way we have craft projects to help with both.
In this project, we are decorating our very own Easter baskets then filling them with pom-poms for eggs. Little artists love this sensory friendly activity. It is also great for sneaking in a little math by counting the puff balls. Maybe taking one away or adding one. Please click the image below to print your free Easter basket pattern.

Next, we are using a little color theory to have fun painting these large eggs. Little artists have fun learning what happens when you mix two different colors together. They are sure to want to make more than one of these colorful eggs. To print the free egg pattern click the image below.

If you would prefer a more religious decoration, your little artist will love this reverse cross painting. Little artists love the magic of reverse painting. If you have many students make sure to make the cross pattern out of poster board or plastic sheets. I have used these plastic folders to make patterns out of. They are washable and can be reused year after year.

Maybe you would just like to decorate real eggs. Here is a link for the good old fashion kits we have been using for years.
