Fun and Easy Halloween Crafts for Children

Halloween Crafts

The month of October might have you thinking about decorating with Halloween crafts. I know around here it is one of our favorites. No big meal to cook. I don’t have to go by gifts. The most fun is you can wear whatever you want and you are told, ‘cool costume.’

Today we are sharing a few of our easy crafts to make. Little artists love displaying the crafts around the classroom or house. To find more Halloween crafts please visit our category HERE.

We make this first project every year. These are quick and easy to make. Cut out one pattern and reuse it to make multiples. Children love the reverse painting trick for making this ghost. It is almost like a magic tick. To print the free patter please click here.

Next, we are refining small motor skills while making our own Jack-o-lanterns. Children can paint or color this pumpkin then add shapes to create a face. You may choose to pre-cut face pieces or let your artist cut them out themselves. To print the pumpkin base please click here.

I love seeing all the different ways this monster craft turns out. You can choose to color or paint this crazy monster or leave it plain. I usually place a pile of different sized eyes on the table and let the glue on as many or as little as they would like. Then we take a minute to count how many eyes they added. Great for sneaking in a little math. To print your own free monster pattern click HERE.
