Father’s Day Crafts
Little artists love to make crafts for the ‘Big Person’ in their life. Last month we shared several projects to help celebrate Mother’s or Mother figure day. Today we are sharing some Father’s Day crafts. Even though most schools are out on this holiday we are hoping that you will make something special for the Fathers or Father figures in your little artists’ life.
I am sure your little artist thinks their dad is king. In this first Father’s Day craft, we are helping him to feel like one with this handprint crown. For directions on how to make this project visit HERE.

Maybe your dad likes to fish? Next, we are making fun decorative fishing lures. This is a great craft to turn into a fishing game too. Your artist can make his or her own fishing pole with yarn and a magnet. Then make several of the fish and add paper clips to the end of each fish. Toss in the magnet near the fish and see how many you can catch.
Sometimes I do not attach the paper clip all the way to the fish’s mouth. Allowing some paper clips to slip off. The kids laugh when the paper clip falls off and I say, “Oops! He got away.”

We all know filling our dad’s shoes can be hard. In this next project, we compare how far your little artist has to go. We share a boot pattern to add a child’s footprint too. You may choose to stamp or paint a footprint on. Kids might also enjoy tracing his or her shoe onto the print as well.
