Crafts about the Netherlands
We are always having fun learning about different cultures and new places with arts and crafts. If I said windmills and tulips you might have a hint about today’s craft inspiration. If the headline didn’t give it away you might have guessed it, we are learning about the country of the Netherlands.
We are sharing three great projects to help your little artists learn about what they might see in the Netherlands. In our first project, we are making a windmill that moves. Little artists love learning basic engineering skills while crafting his or her own toy. Let’s begin today’s adventure in art with our Dutch windmill.

Spring seems like the perfect time for tulip projects. Our next couple of crafts are all about tulips. In the first tulip craft, we are refining small motor skills with sponge painting. This project can also be painted with a brush depending on the ability of your little artists. Kids love using different techniques.

This set of Crayola paint brushes pens might be fun to try for the previous project. They are filled with paint and offer a less messy option for painting with little artists. No paint or water cups to spill. They come in five different colors and would make a great addition to any craft.
In our final project, we are making a 3D tulip. These make beautiful bouquets. You can make several flowers or each flower in several colors.

While we may not be able to travel to the Netherlands I hope you had fun creating a few European crafts. We have more crafts available in our Europe and St. Patrick’s Day category if your little artists would like to create more.
We hope your little artist had fun learning with crafts about the Netherlands. If you made one or all three projects I know you will tell your little artist, ‘You’re so creative!”
