Spring Flower Crafts for Kids
“April showers bring May Flowers.” Today we decided to share some of our spring flower crafts for kids. Depending on where you live you might already have some flowers blooming or may have a foot of snow. Either way, it is always nice to decorate with beautiful flowers. (* Hint- some of these projects might even make a nice mother’s day craft.)
If your little artist is anything like ours they are constantly asking ‘why’ or ‘how’ about everything. Such as ‘How do flowers grow?’ Or, ‘Where do flowers come from?’ In our first couple of projects, we are sharing three crafts about how seeds grow. Your little artists will learn to bury, water, and sprout seeds. These projects work great in a classroom setting as different stations. Station one bury and plant the seed, second water and third let it grow. Let us begin.
How Seeds Grow Crafts
Now that we have learned how flowers grow let’s start making a few. First, we are making beautiful 3D Tulips. This is a fun project to make in different colors and design into bouquets’.

You might see our next spring flower blooming already, the beautiful daffodil. In this next project, we will glue petals onto a cardboard tube and make flowers. Click the picture below to find out more.

This next flower can be made in multiple different ways. The artist may choose to color the petals in different colors or all the same. We made our brightly colored rainbow flowers by using Crayola tropical markers.

In our final project, we are using different colors of flowers to make a wreath. Little artists will have fun making his or her own unique wreath.
