Skeleton 3D

Skeleton Craft Project

Supplies:

  1. Copy of skeleton parts
  2. Card stock
  3. Pencil
  4. Scissors or Safety scissors
  5. Glue stick

Directions:

  1. Print copy of bones and skull onto card stock paper.
  2. Cut out bones and skull. If your little artist is not proficient with cutting, you might want to pre-cut all of the skeleton pieces before you begin.
  3. Trace child’s handprint (fingers closed) onto card stock paper. (We did two.)
  4. Accordion fold handprint and cut out a few at one time.
  5. To make the spine, glue the tips of the handprints together. Glue the two pieces together to make a spine.
  6. Trace child’s hands and feet for skeleton’s hands and feet, and cut out.
  7. Then glue the rest of the pieces to make your skeleton.

Options:

  1. Sometimes it’s fun to let your little artists decide to glue their skeletons together however they choose. It may not be ‘correct,’ but it will be an original!
  2. You can print the bones onto bright colored paper to make any color skeleton your little artist would like.

You’re so creative!
